The section I will go over is 8-1

- To solve for theta you get the trig fuction by itself and then take an inverse.mber is
- An inverse has two answers with some exceptions, find some exceptions, find where the angle is based on the trig function and if the number is positive or negative.

Steps:
1. take the inverse of the positive number to find the Q1 angle to get this
Q2: make the number negative and then you have to add 180 degrees.
Q3: Add 180 degrees
Q4: make the number negative then add 360 degrees.

Ex: 2 sin(theta)= -1

now you just divide by 2 to get:
sin( theta)= -1/2

now you just have to take the inverse which will give you:
(theta)= sin-1(-1/2)

now you have to make the number positive and add 180 degrees and you get:
(theta)= 30degrees+180degrees= 210 degrees

now you just have to make the number negative and add 360 degrees:

( theta)= -30+360= 330 degrees

and thats how you do the problem.
